This wasn't really meant to be a chesspiece, but it reminded me of a knight when I was sculpting it. I made this a week ago when I really need to get this sculpy bug out of me. I probably should have been doing my homework. XD Anyway, it's Wolf Nymph in gryphon form, just for fun!

i think the only thing though that would get in the way with it being a "successful" chess set is that the pieces (from the looks of thise one. it's life size from what i gather on my screen X3) would need a special board made since they'd be bigger then standard pieces and may not fit easily on a standard board. (maybe you could do that as well? make a custom board with a pic painted on it or something? *has a few ideas* X3 send me a note if you want the rest?

although i think maybe, if you do commissions for them, you could try and paint/draw a requested image on the playing face of the board, and some how make the "Black and white" places on the board distinguishable from the image?? (dunno if that made sense X3)

Given I was older and could leagaly wander...well I mean i have a license but im not even 16 quite yet... but still...wow that is amazing...I am going to make a trip to Michales tomarrow and attempt to make some peices of my own to see what its like! I have a Griffon Character too... well I mean yours isn't pure griffon... then again I dunno wether mine will be or not... its sad I still haven't got a solid furcon.
