Mal'nen protecting her beloved Sully... Some rare warmth in winter, a small moment of peace in a war-torn world.
Done as a gift for my darling wizard a while ago. I did this entirely with a calligraphy dip pen and inks... the carefully hatched colour and knotwork were helllll. The gold-painted background scanned terribly, but in person looks a lot like an illuminated text.
