One of my latest designs. The birds are all beads, strung on copper wire. I used a combination of stitches, both weave and an all bead version of my horizontal dream catcher stitch. The bird pendant is on a necklace of matching colored beads double threaded on nylon ribbon.
This set is for sale, note me if you are interested. Other colors are available as a custom order.
I am aware the picture isn't very good, shiny items like this don't photograph terribly well.

I think they are the only beads I have worked with regularly for a long time. Don't get me wrong, I have loads of mixed up beads from various spills and I have spent an unhealthy amount of time chasing said beads around the floor. Seed beads go well with wire, so that's probably why I like working with them.
I get lots of comments from people about how they could never work with something so small without magnification. I respond its a good thing I am near sighted.
