Geeskia
Built by the Espic of Star Hunt, from their space station citystate of Tutotic, these little (40 Displacement Ton) Tech 10 workhorses will be state of the art for the Espic race for some time to come.
When jump drives are finally developed, rather than creating a whole new 100 Dton class, a 60 Dton secondary vessel, Raintoo class, will be created to act as a jump shuttle - though it will have its own crew complement, maneuver drives, power and flight systems that can operate independently of, or in tandem with, the Geeskia.
She's 5G (Only 2.5 in deep space, having A-Grav based maneuver drives), model 4 computers, 2 staterooms, a bunk, 4 cramped passenger seats and 10 Dtons of cargo. She's stealth, and while normally unarmed, has enough backup power to load out with a triple missile rack under the bow. Outwardly, they were marketed as jack of all trades - but troubleshooter 'carrier', and strike fighter variants were fairly easy to develop.
The configs shown here are wings up and out for belly landing, straight up for specialized cradle berthing, and wings down for water landing or ocean skimming.
- Deck plans and price/stat sheet next week, maybe with a few color variations and the Star Hunt mon on the carapace.
I know it reads like 'Geeks Epic Penis', but its not :D
