Another vista taken from the Space Needle, this time its Mt. Rainer. Old Man Mountain didn't have a hat of clouds that evening and made for a good photograph. At the time I took this one, I missed the structural spar encroaching on the left side of the frame. As usual, I didn't bother to crop it before uploading... *sheepish grin*

Ah yes, the old one, our standing guardian, Rainer himself. We have quite the understanding with him, loving him yet at the same time cautious and wary. We respect the old one as we live in his immense shadow. We know fully what he is capable of, as well as the other "firehearts" in the range around us. Rainer, St Hellens, Baker, and others. For the beauty surrounding us, we must live in the shadow of these great "firehearts" fully aware of the danger this means to all of us here. And we marvel at and respect these great giants watching over us.
