I do not know why FA keeps NOT uploading my images. It's pissing me off.
I seriously love the lowest left panel. That + Cuthbert's expression pretty much represents their relationship as a whole.
Posting the page early this week because I've got a very busy week ahead. Similarly, I'll be posting two pages next week, since I'm going to be gone at FWA.
The handsome white wolf there is
WanderingPariah, the winner of our character insert auction way back in the day. He makes an appearance for several pages hence, and will actually play even more of a role in future volumes. Stay tuned :)
Our website is at: http://www.rukiscroax.com/redlantern/
Red Lantern is now on Twitter, and Blogspot:

And on our own website, finally!

This comic is rated R for adult language, adult situations, violence, and themes of war, prostitution, and slavery.
rukis is responsible for all writing, and character artwork/color
alectorfencer is responsible for all background elements, scenery, and landscapes

Regarding those errors, I might have stumbled upon the reason you're getting them:
When I save the image to my computer, and try to open it using plain old mspaint, I get an error saying it's "An invalid bitmapfile or the formatting is not supported." (Literally translated from Dutch, the english alert might be slightly different) Either way, it seems the file is more-or-less corrupt.
It's also pretty darn large for a 891px × 1.188px image (5,3MB).
Maybe saving the file as a .jpg instead could solve both those problems at once. (The file should be smaller, and it might be saved correctly, though slightly lossy. But that's probably not visible with a decent jpg quality level, any way.)

When saving as a JPEG, try converting to CMYK as well. It will often tone down this color saturation. I find that when working with photographs, you often have to go into hue/saturation to compensate for this. No one has given any real explanation to why the color conversion does this, only a means to counter it. Go figure. I work in print media, which is mostly CMYK. So there are many means of trying to compensate for the color conversion. RGB seems to be superior to CMYK for computer displays, but CMYK will tone down the color for you in a more broad-spectrum and less muted manner than using the hue/saturation control itself I also like to use shadow/highlights to tweak things, but that's getting too far into it.
rgb is used for displays because it contains the color info used by the monitors, red green and blue light, while cmyk is for printing because those are the primary colors used in ink and other pastels, red(magenta) blue(cyan) and yellow being the primary colors there (these are also the secondairy colors of light)
Different purposes, yes. Though the fact that converting from RGB to CMYK tones down the color saturation has a complex explanation that's beyond me. Even though it is in CMYK color, it still displays as RGB on the computer. It's just a means of toning down that saturation in this instance. Some toying with the hue/saturation and shadow/highlights functions might do the same as well. It just requires some minute tweaking. Then trying to be sure your display is similar to everyone else's, well, it's just going to be near impossible to make it look right to everyone.
Love your work. I did notice however that the captain and his first mate, or what ever he is, seems to have swapped positions from the first frame (assuming its their sillouettes we're looking at) and the second last frame where the seem to be standing on the other side of each other. LOL. Not complaining just an observation.
Now if they were equines I could say "The Calvery to the rescue", but I suppose "The Pack to the rescue" sounds just as good.
I really look forward to the rest of this as I can see many ways that Amon and Dhaval can be saved by the gallant Admiral.
Poor Cuthbert - Yes - I can understand his 'dismay' at his errant charge. Reminds my of Picard and Riker
Riker - "The captain cannot be part of the away team Sir.."
Picard - "Oh Shut up Riker and beam me down"

PFFFFT...Luther is beginning to sound a lot like me (I broke up a lot of bully-fights in high school simply because i could while one of my friends always did that same eyeroll). Hang in there Amon, the cavalry's comin'...Oh, i SO see a beatdown in certain yena's futures...
