I've seen a lot of...far fetched Zombie Survival Meme sheets out there. Sporting various equipment that often, the user has absolutely know bloody clue about. So I'm curious to see what y'all would really have during the Zombie Apocalypse.
So imagine zombies are shambling down the street. You have maybe...five, ten minutes before they're at your door. Feel free to run around your house grabbing items liberally, and show us what you'd have when the Zombies show up!
Interestingly, I do have some ranged weapons. But I didn't grab them as I was originally just taking the pic to show folks the contents of my bugout bag.. So for this Zombie Apocalypse... I'm limited to melee. lol.

Well, I got a big damn cane knife right here. Better take the other machete, too.
First Aid kit over there.
Pack.
better throw the sas in there. paper/pen/pencil
cliff bars, cook pot + spoon, matches, cotton balls, whatever food I can grab
boots, work pants, carhartt jacket, some shirt, hat. prolly put the cargo shorts over the work pants to have more pockets/ other pair of pants. socks, throw other socks in pack.
paracord already in pack. plastic baggies in pack
usual knife/exacto knifes
sunglasses
.... laptop ... hurr
need a light source bigger than the one already in the pack. one in the car, REALLY big ones out in the other buildings.
if I can get out to the other buildings, pickup truck and various firearms + ammo + water tank (empty though)
if can't get out there my honda has more shit in it worth taking, just not as heavy duty to plow though zombies and not four wheel drive and too low to the ground. got another machete in there, blankets, fire materials, light sources, work gloves, etc.

I've got a 50's military duffel, a dull pocket knife, a bunch of recently sharpened carbon steel kitchen blades, a load of canned food, bottles of water, a small roll of duct tape, the keys to my house in the country, my bike keys, granola bars, a flashlight, a duster, a pair of work boots and some survival guides. Go out the window, snag the bike if possible, Go out through the park to river road. Camp in the Purdue stables. Take the back roads home. Collect up more stuff at home. Hide in the abandoned Co-op.
