This is Helena, Diana's mother. She was one of the few Pynx sold to a good, caring master. She lacked the "special" programming that made many of the original Pynx into deadly assassins and cunning spies. Her master bought her for the purpose of being his companion and caregiver as he was very weak and sickly. They eventually fell in love when he realized that she wasn't simply a pretty face, but an intelligent being with a kind heart.

After she gave birth to their daughter Diana, he became active in trying to get Pynx recognized as people deserving of the same rights as any other citizen. The people who had created them, however, didn't appreciate the negative attention he was bringing to their organization and sent an assassin to silence him. Helena killed the assassin, but not before the deed was done. When the company's enforcers came to reclaim "their" property, Helena held them off long enough for her daughter to escape.

When Diana liberated the Pynx by exposing their creators as traitors, murderers and slavers, she rescued her mother from the facility where she was being questioned on her former master's actions. The two now live together in the home where Helena had lived with her beloved- after his death all of his money and property had passed on to Diana, his only living relative.

An as Omega, Helena always wears a necklace bearing that symbol.
