Anyway here is a request for my sister.

She wanted me to draw a purple butterfly. So, I came up with this. I had to use several references on what butterflies wings actually looked like since they move too fast when in the wild.

She said it looked similar to butterfree, a butterfly pokemon for those who don't know, and wouldn't you know it I actually also looked at a butterfree's wing scales for reference, too.
Hope it isn't too similar though.
