The name is Bond. James Bond x6.

Well, this ended up being a hell of a lot more time-consuming than I expected, but since I'm in that lovely phase of I-have-no-art-deadlines-and-can-draw-whatever-the-fuck-I-want, I went for it.
At any rate, Devon and I were watching a lot of Bond films during his last visit, per usual at Christmastime. Then we got to talking how Bond would look anthropomorphized.
Of course, there's been six "official" Bonds, all with very different actors. So that's not a simple question. So.....
This was a bit of an experiment, since I don't generally draw portraits, but I wanted to see what traits I could capture of the actors and still make it recognizeably my style. It was a LOT harder than I thought, since I tried to keep too close to the actors originally and the end result was a bit...Thundercat-ish.
The other challenge was trying to pick a different outfit and pose for each one that was relatively unique to their style and movies. I don't think it's any surprise what I chose for Daniel Craig XD
Hopefully I did well enough that I don't HAVE to ID each actor, but they're in chronological order if not.
As to exactly WHY this is so important...see here!

I mainly picked a cougar cuz he's blond
Sean Connery was the best and only Bond for me. Nice tribute. I am presuming the wolf is Connery...and I think I know which one the fox was but the name escapes me.
Ah, a Connery purist And yeah, Moore was the longest running so I'm sure you saw his movies around, if only on all those cable TV marathons XD
Sean Connery aside, I will admit I haven't seen enough of the other actors, save Moore. Whenever I hear that a new Bond actor comes along my ears perk - I kinda hope Hugh Jackman tries the role but I know he isn't in the prime age range now.
Again you did a nice tribute here! It makes me wonder if I could request you to render a celebrity or 2 as a furry.
... well, okay, maybe five
very nice :3
And ack! Why are so many people changing handles? I recognized your icon. Yer all trying to confuse me XD
Hmm let's see, 1st one Sean Connery, 5th Pierce Brosnan and 6th Daniel Craig are quite straight forward. 3rd should be Roger Moore. 2nd George Lazenby and 4th Timothy Dalton? With those two I'm not sure ^^;
While in the movies Sean Connery is definitely my favourite, from your interpretation I'd ask the fox to have a vodka martini with me ^^
Seems everyone loves Connery. But of course...fluffy foxes are always fun
I think it is because Connery defined what James Bond had to be like. And all the others were trying to fit that role. Excep for Daniel Craig perhaps who played Bond in a very different way. Still, Craig was very hawt... err I mean good with his interpretation of the role ^^
Oh there are so many fun things to do with fluffy foxes
You should do an i.s.o. version of this. Cody would look so hot in a suit!
And Jake...well, I can picture already his face when dressed like so ;)
I had one panel of Cody (and Todd) dressed up for prom. Jake...not so much XD
Sexiest bond is a cougar.
... somehow you didn't get this wrong. *golf clap*
No comment on the lion?
And yes, it was an interesting more hard-edged take, actingwise too
I deny the existence of Lazenby! He was never Bond :P
Of course the original is a woof :D
And has a classy white dinner jacket
This is seriously well done :)
Thanks for posting it!
Yeah, well, it's also hard to arrange five in a square. I actually was going to omit Dalton, going by all guys who'd been Bond more than twice (Craig is confirmed in Skyfall, the upcoming one this year, so that's three for him) but I just decided to go for all of them.
Moore did the white jacket too but I think Connery rocked it better.
Thanks!
So... yeah. Recognizeable. :)
Connery pretty much just because of the Scottish outfit. :-/
Craig... a little, but hell yeah, I would've chosen THAT scene for him too XD
And Brosnan looks good too... especially the hair. But why exactly a black panther?
I gotta admit, I never saw that, so I can't really say anything about the resemblance to Lazenby
And yeah, it's ironic that the actor put in a kilt was not the Scottish one, but the Aussie XD
Re: Brosnan, Iunno...he's active and graceful in action scenes, fit but not quite as forceful as some of the more rugged Bonds. I figured he'd probably do stealthy things the best. And trying to match his features was weird because he's very good-looking but doesn't have hugely strong features or facial references (like Moore's eyebrows or Connery's chiseledness), and a black animal also looks more "smoothed out".
/melts
i'm going to go hang this up on my wall!
Thx! I wish I had a higher-res version of that
Algernon ("Q") : "Good to see you Mr. Bond. Things've been awfully dull 'round here. I hope we're going to see some gratuitous sex and violence"
Getting my mate into it, too. Now Nugget has Bond fantasies...
Why Moore as a fox? His comedic timing and sense of fun? He certainly fit the times, didn't he?
Let's try to forget the Dalton years. Please?? Almost killed the franchise; it was Bond's version of Berman & Braga. Except without the death knell and cancellation
And, for the record, I waited YEARS to see Pierce Brosnan as Bond. Worth the wait!
Thankee muchly! Connery was one of the easiest to work with.
Well, Moore was more a lover than a fighter, and he was pretty cute when he started, which is the usual fox rep
Once I started it, it kinda became all-inclusive, sorry I actually almost stopped with Moore/Connery/Brosnan/Craig but decided to do all six.
Yeah, I kinda wish they'd gotten one more with him...
After studying the photos, it does seem the casting people do like eyebrows!
Though I still say at least in terms of overall sexiness, Brosnan gets my vote. Craig has that body but I can see the potential for butterface in the future...
I'm a big fan of Jame Bond, so I can't resist to fav+.
Plus, we can recognize who is who. ^^
Add in the references to things like Bond's white suitjacket, the martini, and iconic scenes and shots, and this really is a clever, creative, wonderful concept. But I expect nothing less from you. ^_^
Also: KILT!!
I didn't even know about Lazenby till now! The only obscure Bond I knew was David Niven.
The equine looks a bit out of place among all the felines and canines, but I guess that makes sense!
Awesome drawing so adding to Fav.
