This was an interesting concept.
RyBurr wanted to see himself transforming from a human to a raver canine, and we also decided to have his outfit change along the way too. Basically it's the magic of music! I came up with the idea of focusing on specific parts of the transformation along the way, utilizing the lighting, and silhouetting the rest. The full canine form isn't revealed until the end.
So it took some creative effects with Photoshop, but ultimately it was a lot of fun. Some of the white pixels from the cut and paste remained, but I left some of them in since there's the silhouetting and light FX, they kinda fit. Hopefully the end result makes sense.
Not-so-suprising-fact; I've never been to a rave, so it took some poking around online...

I like this a lot... the dancing transformation is cool.
Thankee!
I tried a few youtube videos, including one strange guy who named his dances. It was quite entertaining, but "Milking the Bull" ruined my ability to take him seriously
But yeah, all in all it gave the needed effect. The picture has a forward momentum that keeps up with the transformation. ;) And judging by all the favs I'd say a lot of people agree that it turned out spectacular. So lets stop... hammer time.
Nice work!
Looks awesome!
Great picture, Vince !
And those pants are just too cool :3
I'm sorry but a Madonna song from eleven years ago is NOT ANCIENT. :sobs, recalling hearing Into the Groove on the radio when it first came out:
Nah, he's got a mesh shirt on
I gotta get me to a furry rave, perhaps at CFz2012. Hope I have a fursuit soon...
