"The Nutcracker" Marty Walnut (shown in a practice jersey) is the oldest active player on the Green Bay Tundra as well as one of the very few FHL players to have come from the south. He is a red-tailed fox squirrel from Yazoo City, MS and played hockey for Acadiana University prior to the
FHL. For years, he has been known as one of the league's true bad boys of the ice, often leading any team he plays on in penalties and fights, though after several injuries and GM Maynard Von Schnauzer putting a stop to his pre-game drinking habit, he has toned down his bad behavior a bit, but still sees occasional time in the penalty box.

A Dixie ringer, eh? Both of my alligators are from what you would call gator-friendly regions of the South...Chris Delucci of the Bandicoots is originally from Ocala, Florida, while Houston's Richard Dempsey comes from Opelousas, Louisiana. Hence why Dempsey earned the nickname "Ragin' Cajun"...he's every bit the coonass* gator he comes off as.
* - I learned that one from a buddy of mine in Louisiana...some people look at it as an insult, while others, like Dempsey, wear it as a badge of honor. Those are the ones who have the bumper stickers with the raccoon raising its tail reading "Registered Coonass" on their vehicles...but it's kinda touchy down there so don't use it unless you really know the person well.
