Hmmm, not a bad start for an anti-Ranger, could use a little elaboration though. One question, if he was stupid, clutzy, and fat how did he get past the recruiter?

Who knows how he got past the recruiter. Maybe he felt the Corps needed all the manpower they could get.

He was actually inspired in part by Private Pyle from "Full Metal Jacket". If Pyle could get into the Corps...

Vincent comes from Vincent D'Onofrio, who played Private Pyle in "Full Metal Jacket". Baldwin comes from Adam Baldwin who played Animal Mother, another influence on Berserker.
