Casts 2, 3, and 4 from my newest feline mold. Number 1 is being used for a luxray and is all foamed up off camera. The far left with the black muzzle is the newest, middle is reserved for an upcoming cougar commission, and the far right is a secret anniversary suit (a.k.a. recreating a past suit that was originally made 3 years ago to show my progression) is ready to be furred, complete with glass following eyes and a latex nose...
This picture also shows in a way the progression a resin (or expanding foam) mask must go through prior to furring. Far left is straight from the mold, nothing more. The middle has been cut, dremelled, and hinged, it's jawset remains unpainted currently. The far right has all of what has happened to the middle as well as the eyes installed, jawset painted/installed, padded, elastic added, and so forth. This one is ready to be furred. The total time it takes varies from mask to mask but on average it takes me about 6-10hours from pour to fur, allowing thigns to cure properly.
At this time I do not sell my bases, sorry.

As Tesxa said, yes. The foam seen here is a two part mixture (very similar to resin) that you can use to cast. I use it upon occasion, It's overall lighter than resin and seems ust as strong if not a little stronger with the exception of around the edges, but get those thick enough and yer good ;)
