(Lazy meets organization, so this is the 'PG' version. View the Mature one here. I'll find the artist who made the bookmarks later.)
I haven't posted an update of my animatronic works for awhile, so I figured I would post an update. Since then, my new soldering station arrived as well as a Pocket Programmer (from SparkFun). This retires my Arduino Mega from ATTiny programming duties (though I will miss the flashing lights) and allows me to focus it for purely development reasons.
The helper hands and shelving are gifts from Christmas, as well as the voltage meter up on top of the green case. I also got a few other things that aren't on screen (such as an anti-static wrist band), but oh well.
So about the orange soap box: my father got me that also as a Christmas gift as an idea for storing the animatronic modules I am working on. I guess they'd work out a bit, but that ultimately comes down to if the modules really use up more space and if it will serve double duty as a circuit holder and battery holder. I like the idea a bit more than project boxes since the hinge would mean easier convenience to when batteries need to be switched. Plus they come in multiple colors, so that is an added bonus. I guess I can also just ship the circuit and battery holder in the box as if it were ready for use and if the designer wishes to take it out, they can.
I'll later be posting a pic with a possible video link of Build 0002 of the Eye Blink Module, once I fix the jitterbugging issue on it.
