This is just a quick couple of doodles showing what part of the average skyscraper village looks like from the inside.

First we have a look at the ground floor, where the lounge, reception, spaceport and medical departments are. It's a pretty open-plan place, and it's kept warm by air conditioning. Visitors to the skyscraper village check in at reception, whether they're just visiting friends, or whether they've got a shipment of supplies for the store.

Next, we have a small look at some of the shops available in the mall that occupies the top two floors of the skyscraper village. For people bringing supplies (Like the Inquisi chap here), the building has a dedicated freight lift to make shipping supplies to the top of the building easier.

Delivering supplies to a skyscraper village is a very personal procedure, compared to shipping goods to other places which is often a case of just dropping off your stuff and getting money for it. The person making the delivery is given a very friendly welcome by the skyscraper's inhabitants, who are always very grateful that another spacefaring merchant has taken the time out of his busy day to help keep the community supplied with food, clothing and other essential supplies. Merchants of any race or creed are, in time, considered good friends or even honorary members of a skyscraper village's close-knit community, if they help out enough.
