Nobody, outside of Bavaria, and there only in folkmusic and during Oktoberfest, wear a Dirndl ( or Lederhosen ) in Germany .

I didn't know that this particular outfit wasn't German. I saw someone wearing this kind of outfit at German fest this year, and thought it was one.

Yea, well, this is an Oktoberfest celebration, so the traditional works.

But why the whole world thinks its German only because some idiots Bavaria do it . Ok we celebrate here also Octoberfest too , however nobody already carries like I had said Dirndl or Lederhosen . Like that it not really German its only Bavarian .
