I had a feeling that there was more too him, though I'm not quite certain what his angle is. Whatever it is, that demonic wolf character is more than likely ignorant and oblivious to it, and I'm doubtful there's any altruism involved. I get the hunch that within the boundries of the forest, something with that raptor's magic manipulates life and death (considering he just said rod died and is still alive). How, and to what end, remains a mystery.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but the design on the cape looks an awful lot like MLP.
