What tool did you use to do the outline? If you're not using a graphics tablet then you might want to consider using this dealie:

It can help you to get a smoother, inked look on your line work (just use the "stroke path" option). It's not necessary, but it's easier than just using the mouse with the paintbrush/pencil tool. =3
