Got to say I really like this paring out of all of the battles so far. Saurus is a nice departure from the usual thug, being more the tragic villian or an anti-hero. He does douchy things, hangs out with some real douchy people, but then he goes and tries to cut his old friend a break, showing honor of a sorts.
You kind of have to feel bad for Saurus. He's no idea that in the future, he'll be joining them in epic battles side-by-side!
