I dont hate this one as much as some others but im not completely happy with it but it is done and now i dont have to worry about it any more X3

She was sitting at a table in class by herself again. Everyone else sat with a friend or two while working on their projects. Allie hated this project. They had to create a fictional country complete with a flag they had to paint that reflected themselves. She had no clue what to do for it. Her classmates were all working diligently flying through all the requirements and painting their flags. Allie was just sitting at her table with a blank sheet of paper and plain flag.

Unlike the students who played sports she couldn’t have a strong country with a flag that reflected as much. Unlike the smart students she couldn’t have an intellectual country with a flag to follow. Also unlike the artsy students she couldn’t have an art and philosophy based country with beautiful flags. She was the average student who didn’t have many talents.

When the teacher walked around the classroom to look at the progress of all the projects and saw that Allie had nothing done she asked why Allie wasn’t doing her work. Allie responded, “I don’t know what to do or where to start.”

The teacher then told her to try starting with the flag. To close her eyes and imagine a flag, animal, or thing that represented her. So that is what Allie did. She closed her eyes and imagined what would represent her best. Then she painted. The flag was simple. A dark grey back ground with a simpler blue star in the center. For a country where even the average person was treated as if they were extraordinary.
