This is something I've wanted to write for quite some time now, but it's taken me a long while to get it into a shape where I was happy to send it to the two people who matter most. Those are  eliki (Eliki) and  VeloxFox (Megan), whose characters star in this short and (I hope) gently romantic tale. More to the point, they are also both truly wonderful friends in real life, both of whom I've known for many years now and both of whom have made my life a good deal brighter and warmer by their presence. This gift is for both of you, with love and grateful thanks for everything. Not to mention any number of *hugs*. =:)
