this is actually after the scab fell off, but you can see how big it was.
i dont have any pics of his tail wound or the scab on the tip of his tail mainly because i couldnt get them. they hurt him a lot, and i didnt want to hurt him just to get a picture.
btw- yes it was gross, omg i freaked when i found the scab a few days later, i screamed like a little girl who found a tarantula in the bed. thank god hubby was there to get it and toss it out.
the hair grew back in black for some reason- in all the spots he was injured he had black hairs grow in but not as bad as his head. he now has a black pea sized circle on the top of his head, it would be kinda cute actually- if it didnt remind me everyday how lucky he was.
