Krystal was originally going to be in a standalone game called "Dinosaur Planet" (and she was originally, like, a 12-year-old blue cat thing), but some dumb fag from Nintendo thought it would be a good idea to ruin the Star Fox series forever and so he asked Rare to incorporate her (but turn her into a shitty love interest for Fox first!) and her MAGICAL FANTASY WORLD into it. Every minute I wasted playing or observing that game was another brain cell dead. Shadowgate 64 was marginally less painful.

And I feel terrible for commenting on art that's like half a year old, but it just made me that happy. Thank you.

I got Dinosaur Planet and the first Metroid Prime on the same day. Samus Aran is not only the coolest female lead in a sci-fi since Fifth Element and Stargate SG-1, but she can splatter Krystal all over her ship and then make a shiny, blue fur coat and capture Ridley all in the same day.

She was one of those characters I didn't care what happened to them, unless something extremely tragic happened to them.
