Journeying back in time again to the bookend of the previous post...

A few years later i returned the theme of the anthro jungle cat - influenced by the previous pic, but with a different drawing and inking style...Bit of Moebius and Gil Kane influence...

And again i choked after a day or two of inking, convinced i was going to mess-up and ruin it!!!! (sigh...) ...or this might have been around the time my best friend (also a SF/Fantasy artist) was diagnosed with a rare cancer and died shortly after from side-effects of primitive chemo-therapy...21 years old...that time was a sort of blur...i stopped drawing for awhile...but then took my first animation job (much to my disgust) to help pay for a memorial exhibition of his paintings...

i want to go back and finish this sometime soon, using traditional pens and ink...
