Yes, I realize I took artistic libraties (sp?) with the coloration but I'm at a point in the game where there are no tanuki goombas and i cant go back to look for one that isn't evil shroom purple.

Working my way through <i>Partners in Time</i> I had come across a villager who had a raccoon tail.

"hm. thats not right..."
When I approached it, it turned into a weird goomba and attacked me. Through the whole thing it kept changing forms and I realized that it looked like a goomba who had gotten his hands (or...face?) on a tanuki suit! it was so freakishly cute it quickly became my favorite Mario enemy of all time. ^_^

Expect more of this cutie.
