This is a story I wrote up a little while back. The idea was to make sort of a character introduction for the Condition background storyline. Since the previous theme of Condition: Red was Soviet propaganda, and the next theme of Condition: Blue is going to be Jazz/Depression era, a combined torch singer/Mata Hari-like spy seemed to be an obvious choice. Combine this with the Illusionist badge I got at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5873534/, and the fact that I actually did do some amateur stage magic when I was younger, and I ended up with this story.

And yes, I do know how the 'trick' was done in this story. No magic, just a good bit of dexterity and distraction.
