I'd been hoping to get this done within a month of submitting Just Desserts, but sadly college got the better of me, though I have managed to at least get a regular schedule for writing established.
This is another story that was originally theorized a long time ago and has sat untouched in my documents folder for a while, and like Just Desserts it too has ended up becoming far, far longer than I'd initially expected it to be. This is also a rather self-insert-y kind of story, but this time based more upon my childhood, and as such it's told through a much more "innocent" perspective (you have no idea how hard it was to stave off the urge to use "breasts" or similar terms at least once on every page). Toward the end though I was really kinda just wanting to get it over and done as soon as possible with so I could get on to other projects.
Main character is forced to stay home on his birthday due to a sudden flu, but when the weekly cleaning maid comes to the house and turns out to be unlike anything he's ever seen before, she gives him a hand in making the day special again.
I'm rather disappointed that I had to resort to using the ending that I went with, but it felt like the only possible way to wrap things up. See how quickly though it might take you to figure out what the twist's going to be. :P

Must say out of all the general audience story's I have read your story happen to not only be well written but also brought a smile onto my face. Though I admit even as I am a writer [and I use that word as sparingly as the US loves Diet food.] I would find myself hard pressed not to put breasts into the story....Though I guess it doesn't help that Dragonites are one of my favorite fatties which I blame Eddy for.
Anyway good story and I hope to see more from ya when you are able cause as we all know College is a bitch....which reminds me that I still have a Essay due....*Runs off to do just that.*

I gotta say, this story really struck me.
I admit, I came here thinking this was going to be some kinda hawt story with a hawt Dragonite maid. But, as I realized it wasn't, I couldn't bring myself to stop reading.
It's a nice story, a touching story. But, and I can't put my finger on what exactly, something really hit home for me. It just reminded me of my childhood. Of course, it may be the mention of Gamecubes, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, but I think it's more than that.
When I was little, I would sometimes have dreams that I would remember with a great fondness, a certain warm feeling when I thought about them. Most of them involved Digimon and Pokemon and the like. I guess I just loved the fantasy aspect, the idea of something I hold so dear to me coming to life.
Whatever the case, when I stepped back after finishing this story, I had that feeling again. I haven't had it in a long time.
TL;DR, Great story, it moved me. No real crit to speak of.

Well, I'd say it kinda still is about a hot Dragomaid, just that the hotness of the situation is downplayed. :V *pops*

Ehhh, probably not. For one I don't really want to write another story featuring such an obvious self-insert of myself - Belladonna will likely be appearing in future stories at some point, however. The other reason is that not only is there nothing in this story to necessitate a sequel, but also I don't think I'll ever be able to replicate quite the same level of emotional resonance that this one had, so any attempt to build off of this will just be ruining the impact that it had.
