I've seen your pupil, oh yes, through no small feat I applied my talents and resources to find the backwards bumpkin town 'Ponyville' and found her there, wasting her time, giggling like a foal with her 'friends', what kind of student lollygags like that when they should be dedicated to further study of their magic?

Brightlight Dazzle, whee, a character not based off me for once, instead tailored just to mirror Twilight, I wondered, in Celestia's school, Twilight had to hatch a dragon to hatch... how come we haven't seen more students, more ponies with dragon assistants?

So, here is Brightlight, with her rather creepy and more asian inspired dragon assistant Hax =D

Also, I wondered, if Twi is Celestia's current fave, surely they had to be one before her? So thus was born Dazzle, to be pushed aside for the youngster not even half her age has left a large chip on her flank...

Whee, her cutie mark is a Lapis Lazuli, symbolising her 'truly polished talents, her dedication to the art of magic', she may be an uptight mare, but she is a strong spellcaster, driven to prove herself to Celestia, even if that means having to prove it by besting her new favorite pony!
