An older piece, actually, a few months now. Just thought I'd display Janet sporting her new clothes. A Portfolio examiner suggested I change up her look to make her look more in the future, and less in the now, to fit the time frame she actually belongs in. Now, I'm no fashion major, so it's really up to you to decide whether or not I was successful in that endeavor. Still, I personally am liking the new duds.

Not a bad pose, pretty "JC Penny" though, but that's kind of the idea though.
For perspective reasons, the right foot should be slightly lower on the paper to show it being closer and jutting outward.. otherwise it looks like the left foot is closer to the viewer. The pocket on the left side should also not be seen or only half-seen as it would be on part of the thigh turned away from the viewer.
I would suggest going over your contour lines with a thick stroke too. It looks a little sketchy and for a style sheet you may want to make it look a little more solid.
Try going heavy with your colored pencils. Don't be afraid to put down a base color and work up, or work in layers and build up. I know that some artists like to go light, but try working it like you would the oil pastels.
