I'm gonna be nit picky here, but they should not lean the language that quickly or rather, not so quick as to be able to hold simple conversations. Yes, words can be done relatively simply, but the grammar and everything is another matter entirely. Furthermore, the older a person is the harder it is for people to learn a language. Anyways, just nit picking
