Well I recently read Watership Down so that inspired this, but when I started drawing I was thinking more along the lines of 'hare', because I prefer their body types to rabbits. However with Frith in the background (the sun, also the god to the rabbits) I wasn't quite sure where I was going with it as there's not much mention of hares in the book and it's unknown whether they actually worship Frith as well. It's likely though seeing as the sun is known to be life giving.

Or perhaps it's part of the hare's story, and he some how was adopted by rabbits and brought up in their way and their beliefs and Frith is watching over him.

Then again I was also thinking, 'perhaps this is El'arairah' but the fact that it's a hare kind of trashes that idea.
