“Hey, Bartender!” A stag shouted, “Drinks, over here!”
“What will it be then?” The rabbit said, “The classic stouts?”
“Nah, we got the whole week off,” A zebra shouted, “We want the hard stuff!”
“Just a moment then.” The bartender stepped back and walked for the-
“And some chips,” A ram shouted, “A whole bucket of loaded chips!”
The rabbit paused at the request, then sighed and walked back toward the kitchen window, “Extra order of chips. Loaded up.”
Watch kept down, as these five brats reveled in who knows what. He munched on his burger as he watched the bartender pass them all beers. It got a little quieter as they each took sips.
“Hey, a toast to the host.” the boar of the group said, shaking his bottle with his thumb over the top, “The man who knows how to treat us!” He slid his thumb slightly off the opening and out sprayed the carbonated booze onto the rabbit, and he wasn’t the only one. The other four youths followed up and sprayed him down as well, laughing over it. Watch just saw the rabbit just take this, barely holding onto dignity.
Watch got a small moment, where the rabbit looked at him. He had this expression like he wanted to apologize, but Watch still waved him over for something. The rabbit walked over to him, “This really isn’t what-”
Watch held up his hand to stop him, “Just go prepare an angel shot.”
The rabbit was quiet, and tilted his head.
“...Make that FIVE angel shots.”
The rabbit’s eyes widened, “J-just let me… grab those from… the back…” He slowly backed away from him, and he walked through the kitchen door as Watch got up and walked for the door. With a small screwdriver and bobby pin, he locked the door.
He left his bags by the door and walked over to the five college guys, taking a hard cough to get their attention. They all turned to look at him.
“What?” the boar said, “Are you jealous of our chips? They are not even here yet.”
The wolf reached in his pocket and pulled out an empty soda can he got earlier, “Did you throw this at me?” Watch growled, “I recognize your scent.”
The stag, zebra, boar, and two rams looked among each other, going quiet.
“Are you serious?” The zebra said,
“Fess up,” Watch barked, “Which of you clowns did it?” Oh boy, everyone find cover.
