Shuten Douji (Anubis in the dub) fighting hard to earn his redemption. You've earned it, Shuten -- you absolutely have.
Here it is, the final piece that both Red Thunder Strike and Loyalty were ultimately designed for! I am SO happy with how this turned out!! I wanted to showcase both sides to his story and power in one image as a kind of duality piece, the fighter and the monk, the armor and the shakujo, yin and yang. This was absolutely a labor of love! I simply love Shuten and adore his story. Somehow I doubt this will be the last piece I do for him either, but only time will tell, LOL!
I accidentally started drawing this on a canvas much larger than I'd intended and didn't realize it until I was half done -- whoops! XP I shrunk it as much as I could without sacrificing quality, but if FA eats it you can find the full sized piece on my DeviantArt for better quality!
