Moogle updates are here!!
Okay Ian mcConville mog mod for morrowind got me hooked. A friend had talk about a moogle race about a year before I did this and I balked at the silliness of it. Okay maybe its still silly but that have a certain little bad ass quality to them. Even my most hardened core race player likes them and like tanuki and burmicans they become a staple of the races many of my players use for their character
Moogles are Square and this incarnation was designed by Ian McConville.
The Atrocity of Moggle has been corrected to Moogle.

I'd have to disagree with just about everything you said there.
Legs: Oh, doesn't it?
Body Scaling: Yes it does. A lot better actually (the EGM system allows you to have a big/wide or small/thin head, yet still have helmet/hair compatibility) than morrowind ever did. If we can have this, there's no reason we can't have a moogle head
"Anything else that made the morrowind mod cool": Again, yes it can. For the jump/slowfall thing, I'd recommend having a look at Supreme Magicka or Less Annoying Magic Experience (forget which has it.) Though in all reality, if your going to do something new, then do something new. Instead of just jumping, why not make them fly outright?yes it CAN be done
A moogle mod for oblivion CAN be done. The moogle community just has to get its act together to make it happen, instead of just trying to lazily and sloppily trying to use old models that aren't optimized for oblivion.
And for burmecain:... Meh. Don't get me started on THAT guy. Plus, I've seen better beast race mods. MUCH better.

Not exactly what I meant. Oblivion is a much better game in every way. I just thought that the mog mod for it was badly scaled. Their limbs looked too toothpick like.
I haven't got the magic mods to work right. But that doesn't say anything about it. Any way all I meant was the "Mod" that got put out.
I think the burnecian guy took his stuff down a while ago, don;t quot me I haven't look in a long time.
I do remember a fox race and skunk race mod that were pretty cool.

meh. Apart from his namesake mod, Burmecain's Moogle mod (as well as his fallout stuff) was just... awful. Basically it was just the Sithdagger version (the one that's still up, the one that was little more than a direct model port from morrowind) with a different head, apparently one that Ian left unfinished for oblivion before he disappeared Which... sadly was also not optimized for oblivion either and was sorely outdated. It also had a nicer description page and some suggestive pictures in a very cheap attempt to grab downloads, but otherwise it was indistinguishable from the sithdagger port.
What I'm saying is a GOOD moogle mod IS possible, but for that to happen it needs to be made from scratch, not just cheeply ported over from morrowind. And the moogle community (whats left of it) needs to get their act together to make that happen.
I've been trying to find people to do just that, but so far, everyone i've asked either has no interest or has no skills in such things (myself belonging to this later group). So... meh.
