Description of the process:
In this work, I decided to experiment with textures and depth. The entire drawing was created using a very textured oil brush, which allowed me to achieve the effect of traditional painting in digital format.
I paid special attention to the details of the short fur and the contrast between the soft fur and the rough fabric of the top. I wanted the character to look alive and tangible, so I intentionally left visible brush strokes.
A brief backstory of the character:
Mira is a resident of the lower levels of the metropolis, where hearing is more valuable than sight. Thanks to her large ears (a legacy of the Oriental breed), she works as a "listener," an information broker who can overhear conversations from three blocks away.
Her gaze may seem cold, but it conceals a sharp mind and the intuition of a predator. She doesn't like unnecessary details in her clothing, preferring practical minimalism that doesn't restrict her movements during her ventriloquist ventures through the city's ventilation shafts.
