The bad thing about Yu-Gi-Oh's monsters is that, since they're all just cards being projected by holograms most of the time, they never get to show any personality other than "fight for who owns my card", with maybe one or two quirks. This also extends to their actions. They only either attack or defend. As such, the only time a monster sniffs is when their attack calls for it to do so to charge it up (like breath attacks).

And then they design a monster with a nose as good as Ryu-Ran's.

And then they made a "toon" version of him that has an even more appealing nose.

To say the least, it's a huge disappointment that he never even gets the chance to truly sniff. Even worse is that he does technically sniff a single time because of his breath attack needing to be charged up, but he points his nose upward and away from view during it, meaning we only get to see the (holographic) trails of wind go to where his nostrils presumably are.

So, I changed that. This is a Manga Ryu-Ran who is perfectly willing to sniff you. Feel free to stare at his big ol' nose as his nostrils flare to you scent.
