Meet the Hobbler Troll!
These little undergrowth dwellers that resemble the offspring of a pug and a rotting log are known for their terrible smell and even more stinking attitude.
They are relatively solitary creatures, spending more time alone than with others, but they do on the occasion like to gather in groups either to grumble incessantly or heckle the local loodwouse population who have to reluctantly live alongside them.
Hobbler Trolls are sometimes jokingly referred to as the philosopher's friend. Being frustratingly contrarian is a sacred tradition of theirs, always willing to pick apart someone's ideas and beliefs regardless of whether they agree with the ideas or not. The arguing is the point.
That isn't to say that they argue for the sake of aggravating others. Arguing is merely small talk for their kind, a way to bond and share ideas, even if most find their ways of doing so to be extremely off-putting.
