I gave Beryl a lot of thought as how she'd fit into the universe thats currently still stuck in my head.
She's a hybrid species and that often comes with perks and drawbacks. I liked the idea of her having breathing problems due to having both gills and lungs (but neither being optimal) but giving her freakish strength to help compensate.
It was also a lot of fun developing her personality and clothing. I've grown to like her a lot. ^^

She has such a wonderful character design! Nicely written lore, too, especially regarding the nature of her hybrid nature factoring into her life (like how she fares on land compared to the sea). Also, her outfits are great, with her casual outfit and gym attire being the best outfits!
