Emperor Alexan, was a great emperor of a legendary kingdom.
The kingdom and its civilization were disappeared completely. The archaeologist could only find a few artifacts from this great kingdom.
It's pretty sad that we can't learn anything about its civilization from these poor artifacts. But there still has a good news. Most of the artifacts were slates, and these slates had recorded some basic information of its language.
The archaeologist can learn its language a little with these slates.
One day, the archaeologist had a breakthrough. They found a unbelievable book...... in galaxy......
With the front cover of this book, they were pretty sure that this book was from that mysterious civilization. And not just this incredible big book, there was also a small notebook hiding in the front cover. It was a note about this construction project.
The one who wrote this note was one of high-class priest in this kingdom. His main job was recording this great emperor Alexan's whole life.
According to this note, when Alexan was still an embryo. They already gave him a name and regarded as the chosen one. And this priest had started his job from here until emperor Alexan's death.
After emperor Alexan's death, this priest started building this book. He wrote everything about emperor Alexan in this book, just like a biography.
So...... if we can read this book, we can get a massive information about this mysterious civilization.
But the big problem is...... there is no way to read this book.
The archaeologist still not figure out its language is a problem. Also the pages of this book is nearly impossible to turn. And the most important of all, every pages has only ONE LETTER.
Every pages has only one letter, including punctuation marks and space. For example, writing "Alexan, the great emperor" will need 25 pages.
The key of solving this mysterious civilization just put in front of those archaeologist, but they con not do anything with it.
A little fun fact about this book. This book was from a old novel I wrote. If I didn't got wrong, I was written that when I was 12 or 13. The book of its original Chinese name was "亞歷山大大帝的一生" at first. In English it should be "The life of Alexander the Great". 亞歷山大 Alexander, 大帝 Great[*1].
But I don't know what happened at that time. You can see that in Chinese, there are two "大" in his name. Somehow I missed one 大 and made his name become "亞歷山 大帝"
The most ridiculous thing was: I noticed this mistake until 22 or more.
I was too lazy to fix that because this bug had existed for too long. That's why his name, Alexan, sound a little weird.
[*1]As I know, the word Great in here should be 偉大的 in Chinese. I'm not sure why they translated it as 亞歷山大 大帝 not 偉大的 亞歷山大.
Maybe 偉大的 亞歷山大 was not boldness enough in Chinese.
