Said: SIR veh LOP
Plural: Cervilops
The Cervilops were created by Namon the Deity of Earth and Ore. Namon, when ze takes on a form, takes on the form of a Cervilop.
As a result, they love earth, stone, and ore more than any other of the Twelve. Generally they are not comfortable when in too-open spaces, though agoraphobia is not as common among them as claustrophobia is among the Bilib. They were the first to build houses and most of them tend to be like burrows. They tend to enjoy really good architecture and mazes and their own areas tend to confuse other species a good deal.
Unlike many of the Twelve, they don't have a preferred area--so long as it's on land. They tend to migrate towards hills and mountains whenever they can.
They are considered as reliable as rock and they do live up to this reputation. However, they are also fun-loving and fanciful (as their love of labyrinths and mazes show).
Their fur tends towards the natural colors of Earth rabbits, though they always have a pair of horns growing from their heads like jackalopes. The bottom of their feet have paw pads that let them grip the earth and they have a small mane on their head.
All members of their species can burrow as quickly as they walk. Marble is like putty in their hands, and even diamonds can be easily shaped by their natural abilities. Of course, most use some tool to help get finer details out. A fluffle of five of them could alter the terrain in a small area, with more creating a wider or greater variant. There are constant rumors that long ago a Great Fluffle actually moved a mountain range, though the truth of this remains heavily debated.
