Tasmanian Devil B
Rothchild Natural History Museum, Tring England
Amazing little animal, the tasmanian devil; one of my favorites (right behind the thylacine.) Honestly, the taxidermy really does not do the animal justice, they are rather adorable looking animals. They just can exert 400 PSI in the backs of their mouth and make somewhat horrific sounds when they are eating. <shrugs> They do need a considerable amount of love at the moment as a rather nasty facial tumor disease is threatening the population.

Most animals get slightly creepy when taxidermied. For when it was done and even today, the Rothchild Natural History Museum is one of the best. Its a truly massive collection of animals (think its still the largest collection brought together by one person) and their worst is worlds better than many museums' best.
