"I'm Proud of You"
It's ok to feel broken,
To not have it all neat.
To carry the cracks
That don't feel discreet.
The pieces that rattle,
The edges that sting.
They're still part of you,
They still mean something.
It's ok to not be ok,
To feel lost, to feel small.
To wonder if
You're anything at all.
But let me be the voice
When yours fades away.
You are more than this moment,
You are more everyday.
I see where you've been,
And the storms you got through.
The quietest battles,
The strength that is you.
You don't have to shine
To prove what is true.
You are worthy, you matter,
And I'm proud of you.
You are more than the silence
That shouts in your mind.
More than the doubts
That tangle and bind.
You are more than the weights
That pull on your chest.
You're a story unfolding,
And you're doing your best.
So just breathe even when
It feels heavy and tight.
So, keep pushing forward,
And shine your light.
You have made it this far,
And I've seen what you do.
You're broken, you're healing,
And I'm proud of you.
It's ok to
not be ok,
To sit with the mess
at the end of the day
To feel like you're falling,
To struggle, to ache.
You're allowed to be broken,
You're only human for Goddess's sake
It's ok to fail,
To not get it right.
To lose all your steam
In the middle of a fight.
You're learning, you're growing,
You're trying your best.
And that's worth more than winning,
Or passing some test.
I'm so proud of you,
And not just when you win.
Not just when you're strong,
Or holding it in.
But when the cracks show,
And you miss the mark.
When the light feels dim,
And the night feels dark.
I'm proud of the times,
You've tried and failed.
Of the moments you pushed,
Through your own private Hell.
When you showed up, tired,
And worn straight through.
Still give to others,
What was left of you.
I don't need perfect,
I don't need gold.
I see your courage,
In ways untold.
And the silent tears,
And the quiet fight.
And choosing to stand,
When nothing feels right.
Do hear this now,
And hold it true.
Even when you fail,
I'm so very proud of you.
Not for the outcome,
Not for the show.
But for the brave heart,
That dared to grow.
I'm proud of you.
