Ik about the spell, but we're not sure if it's a long-lasting one until it can be dispelled, like Lily's cat transformation.
Which's why I'm guessing that Lily just got the same spell and now she's luring Lyle out, prob not knowing the Princess' intention, since Lily can be quite airheaded :P

I mean it’s possible that he just have it in his heart to forgive the unforgivable however there is something to be address if Lily has change and how exactly is that affecting her cause at least it seem she does regret her action even if she still try to justify them to herself
yeah i know what she said she thinks. my argument is her words and her body language do not fully match . which makes me believe aside Lyles claims that Lily aint being fully honest with what she is saying. not necessary Lying bur conflicting feelings that been building up.
I do understand the feeling you're having, but with a little bit of thoughts i think it's understandable why it's going that way, If Lyle had been out really soon after being devoured his anger and sorrow might have stayed as it was fresh in the moment, but his stay was a lot longer, breaking his will, exhausting him, i do believe after such time in this situation when you get out there is only your happiness of being out in the world again with fresh air, you can still be mad of course, but the anger had time to soften and being replaced by the will of simply enjoying the fact of being alive. In my opinion, of course.
Always curious to see where these go. No matter what loving the emotive expression and exchanges you've crafted. It's wonderful watching the illustrations improve and improve as the comic goes. Your skills for illustrating and storytelling just keep getting better, thank you for sharing!
I think their new "house" is going to be like a doll house in the princess bedroom, there is no way she'd let her precious lil friends go away like that ahah.
Because i do think she think of them as friends now, even Lyle, she never intended to use a joke that could hurt any of them, but she realized she could get too far and decided to step back to keep them both around, if that's not friendship then i don't know.
Of course she's going to continue bullying Lyle, she isn't going to admit it tho.
