So you finally showed up. You kept me waiting long enough. Not a good look for a pirate to be more punctual than a naval officer. Just for that I'm doubling the price.
Now I don't want to see your paw going anywhere near the hilt of that saber. We both know you're not getting anywhere near him without me. I paid a high price for this information and I have my own expenses I need to tend to. Now I need a way to gauge that you're actually serious about this. Think of it as insurance for next time.
Oh. There will be a next time. Don't think I'm foolish enough to give up everything I know in one meeting. You'll have the lead on his location that you wanted. All the same I wouldn't rush right in if I were you. If you want to live to tell the tale of how you vanquished the dread Captain Barefang you'll also want information about his crew and capabilities. I haven't quite decided on the price for those tidbits.
