First, ignore that this is National Lie Day.
That done, It's a big chance for someone to join the Cartoon Cuties team. We need a letterer to get us caught up. While I can't offer financial compensation, I can offer a huge stack of original ink sheets in return for helping us out! If you may know someone who might be interested, please pass along this request and offer!
(And on a personal note, I need to make a big sale today, too, so if you're interested in a commission, please contact me ASAP!)

In that case, I'd add another layer (or a separate layer for each panel makes last second changes a breeze) and compose text for transfer to the word balloons. Next, select an appropriate font beside Comic Sans. What file format are you using? I have PSD plugins for Paint.net and Krita; most others are available.
Ah! I've made the same mistake. One good thing about PNG is they can be shrunken on a web page without as much distortion. They do take up a little more space on the hard drives (why I'm building a new server). But yes, those I can open with anything from MS-Paint on up.
Right? I found a super image enlarger (Upscayl) that can enlarge up to 4X without the usual unpleasantness. I've been using it on old, out-of-copyright comic books that were scanned decades ago and are frequently tiny. I run the output through a normalization process to make all the pages the same size. It won't repair damages but it looks better. It's free, too.
Wow!
Well, one step at a time, then. What's the best way to do this? Start with the oldest book? I presume you have .JPGs and a script; that's the way I worked it in the pencil and ruler days (yeah, I've drawn cartoons in the past) only in the 1980s it was paper layouts and typing on paper. I wonder if I still have anything left from the comic a friend and I worked on back in the early '90s...
I still have a drop-box account. That will do for transferring largish files. Sending under separate cover.
