I've had an epiphany, Cynder's colour pallet in DotD was actually peak. I'm gonna draw her this way from now on. You're welcome.

He color pallet wasn't the problem - her actual texture files were the same color they were back in Eternal Night (Charcoal blue-grey with red scutes).
The actual issue was that the engine Étranges Libellules used to make the game was already outdated, and could not render Normal Maps (aka "Bump Maps"). This made all of the surfaces in the game look oily, and to mask this, they cranked up the bloom to max; this had the side effect of breaking some of the color shaders in the game, and ended up oversaturating certain textures, including Cynder's.
If you were to take a screenshot of Cynder in DotD and drop the color saturation by about 50%, you'll notice she turns right back to her original colors.
