Topic: reset cycles!
The more I grow as an artist, the more I realize that art block stems from a lack of exploration, it’s my mind telling me I need a reset.
I tend to follow a cycle usually starting with realism (before I become too detail-oriented), moving to cartoon (before I get too stiff), then abstraction (before I want to give shape to the simple forms), followed by 3D modeling (before I want to give life to my creations), then 3D printing (before the spark of imagination precedes reality), and back to realism. When I complete the full circle, I focus on resetting and relearning. Every time I return, I apply what I’ve learned to improve even further.
I’ve never seen this as a money source, but rather as an expression of my journey. I thank all of you for your support whether through your silent views, supportive comments, or monetary contributions. You truly make this a fun adventure.

It sounds like the sort of thing I do when I am making music. My focus shifts, I change my goals and as a result my output, what my work sounds like also changes. I shift from maximalism to minimalism, from loud to quiet.
Seems normal to me.
I really like this sketch also, your work just makes me feel good about my body. Can't say exactly why really, but it does :)
