Thank you very much!
Ah, there’s not much of a concept behind these words. It’s just the type of commissions, where the commissioner gives you full freedom of choosing mood and scene of piece instead of pursuing something particular, so it gives much bigger space for exploration and thus usually different outcome.

I’m not really familiar with how sustainable my commissions flow is, so I’m not cherry-picking particular ways of working on them - for now I’m just ready to work on whatever I have (by some reasonable degree of course), so I can’t say I have some valuable experience to share with you. Currently I’m focusing on showing to myself and to my public what i’m capable of. This piece happened to be “artistic freedom” just because commissioner wanted to, not because I told so. The process was controlled anyway in a sense that commissioner witnessed all the steps and had right to voice opinions on how it should develop - they just didn’t used it. :)
As for advertising - I’m not sure if I ever advertised my works somehow beyond just showing them, so I guess that it’s the only way for artist. You’re not making some cool kitchen appliances - you’re making art. If you’re passionate enough and understand, how to speak through your art with general audience, which is important too, then job will find you. In my case it happened in a course of several years. As for favoring particular approach - I suppose increasing prices on “non-freedom” positions or directly stating, that you only taking on commissions with artistic freedom, is the way - you just need to understand, that it’s pretty much gambling from the commissioner’s perspective, so you need to consider their concerns too. Also, I think consistency of gallery is works fine too, so people know what they’ll get, when they give you full freedom, but i can’t say nothing particular about that because I don’t see my own gallery consistent. For better or worse x)

Yeeees! Most of it, must say, lol! Thank you for these - it's always good to refresh my brain cell!
Most of stuff i've watched on yt was in russian, but if that's not a problem (i can't remember for sure), my personal favorite were series of quite short lectures by HSE, that saved me many times on exams and were damn interesting to watch - especially! the architecture guy. There's almost everything from ancient to modern stuff.
