I do enjoy these bigger drawings that you do. Lotsa depth, detail with the plants and background, etc. I do imagine the hardest part is not having that perfectionist mindset when you work on bigger pieces like this. Just kind of curious what goes into make more elaborate pieces like this.
Thank you so much! It's always an interesting battle trying not to be a perfectionist with larger pieces. I always have to remind myself bigger illustrations don't need to be 100% perfect. That 10x10 pixel won't be noticed when people look over the larger piece as a whole lol
I can see that. You wanna improve and hone your skills but then it can actually backfire if you get that tunnel vision. Expectation vs reality. Sometimes the best thing to do is take a deep breath and say "this is good enough." And it can be a lot easier on your body as well. Relieve some stress by having a bit more humility in the art making process.
Although, I don't know him much, but I know you, NightStar , and he also looks friendly enough (probably even better), so I would happily accept his calling – being grateful for the invitation. *^^*
